Seems he got something on it,
a spot, who knows what
and he researched how to clean it,
that wool-felt flat hat he bought in Paris
the one he loves . . . wears.
Discovered he must use a toothbrush
and a bit or soapy water.
He used to ask me to take care
of such things, so I do not understand
what this cleansing means.
Whose toothbrush did you use? I say.
